Normally, the passage of air from the nose and mouth on one end and the lungs on the other, should be clear and free. Now in snoring, partial obstruction of the air pathway occurs. As air passes, soft tissues at the back of the mouth and throat vibrate causing the noisy sounds call snoring.

Adolescents after their first cigarette very soon can experienced a loss of autonomy over tobacco according to a family health and community medicine specialist at the University of Massachusetts Medical School in Worcester. The specialist who studies tobacco dependence, described a typical teenage smoker, a fourteen year old girl who smoke only occasionally about three cigarettes a week.

Recent studies show that a baby’s brain and spinal column may be irreversibly impaired even before a woman realizes that she is pregnant. This can lead to neural tube defects, spina bifida and anercephaly. Based on randomized trials, at least half the cases of neural tube defects could be prevented if women consumed sufficient amount of folate or the B vitamin folic acid before conception and during early pregnancy.
